Moving Art now available on Netflix

What’s “Popular on Netflix”? Our recently released nature documentaries!

In this 4-part series – available exclusively through Netflix – Louie takes viewers on an inspiring journey into DesertsFlowersOceans and Forests, accompanied by a soaring soundtrack by Ludovico EinaudiJohann Johannsson, and Gary Malkin.  Louie’s meticulous visual attention to detail captures the beauty and majesty of the natural world like no other cinematographer and leaves viewers with a renewed sense of wonder.

And if you’re lucky enough to have a 4K television, this series is the first content on Netflix alongside the oh-so-popular House of Cards series presented in Ultra HD 4K. Now you really will feel like you immersed in nature alongside Louie – down to every blade of grass and drop of water.

Check out a brief summary of each film below:

The awe and majesty of Deserts are captured through the inimitable lens of award winning cinematographer, Louie Schwarzberg. Day and Nightscapes shot in HD 4K time lapse allow the naked eye to watch amazing changes otherwise incapable of admiring. Louie’s lens has given a sense of life and warmth that most overlook in the desert. Louie’s camera flows unveiling the mysteries and marvels of the Four Corners region of America — a scenic wonderland where the night stars shine as brightly as the day’s sun.

From the vast desert to the smallest Flowers, Louie’s macro lens pores over elegant flowers that come to life through his stunning time-lapse cinematography. If you enjoy this, then check out Naked Beauty and Wings of Life.

What would our world be without water? Oceans teem with life, Louie first focuses his camera on the waves and then what lies beneath them taking the viewer deep underwater to unveil the mysteries and wonder of the natural world.

In between the desert and the ocean, we find Forests. Viewers will marvel at the majesty of nature’s gentle giants through the seasons as we journey to California’s Redwood Coast, Washington’s Olympic National Park and Telluride, Colo.
