NRDC‘s Kristin Center has a thrilling new project on the horizon, and she needs your help! Kristin, a contemporary fusion musician, is creating a video album that depicts the current plight of the honey bee and she has a Kickstarter going to help fund the project.

In her own words:

“Sculptor Magdalena Abakanowicz once said, ‘Art does not [always] solve problems, but makes us aware of their existence.'” I write thinking music; music that makes you reflect on your choices. I consistently strive to communicate a larger message rather than just entertain.

“For this project, I am creating a Video Album with 6 music videos. The project will have a theme, Respect for all through empathy for a few, and will expose the research that I’ve done about the plight of the honey bee. I will put this research in the album’s liner notes and bring awareness to the current bee situation as I see it in one special video.”
