Letting go is one of the key benefits of meditation as the body is able to relax and release the pressure of the past. David Ji stresses the importance of letting go of grievances in order to make peace with the past and to free oneself. Have you ever tried doing a letting go meditation?

“At our core there is silence and stillness…that is truly who we are when you peel away the titles, the ego, the thoughts, the beliefs, the intellect….once you get REALLY naked –you will see that who you are has nothing to do with all that we have given meaning to,” David writes in his book, Sacred Powers: The Five Secrets to Awakening Transformation.

David came to meditation after a 20-year career in finance when he began apprenticing for Deepak Chopra and David Simon. His approach to meditation is to cultivate balance between the mind and body and he has spent years teaching his techniques to people around the world. He has brought his expertise from the meditation world back to the business world, teaching executives and business leaders in high pressure jobs how to de-stress and find inner peace. His approach brings a sense of calm and helps people overcome ailments of the body brought on by stress.
