“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” —John F. Kennedy
Tomorrow, November 11, is Veterans Day. This holiday honors the men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces and is a chance for us to express our gratitude to them for their service. During this month of November, many of us are participating in the #30ThankfulDays challenge. This week, I encourage you to reflect on the bravery and sacrifice our men and women in the armed forces must make as they strive to serve the higher purpose of freedom. While we may have different views on politics and world affairs, Veterans Day is a day to unite under the common banner of gratitude. We support and thank the brave men and women who dedicate their lives to serving our country.
In honor of Veterans Day, I encourage you to go out of your way to thank a veteran for his or her service.
