A Message From Our Plants (Audio)

Plant Consciousness

Davyd and Emma Farrell have a message for you. It’s a message from their plants.

It all started with a big mug of nettle tea, an afternoon meditation and a heart-opening ephiphany.

Fantastic FungiIn a state of deep spiritual connection, it became vividly clear to Davyd that he must begin a movement to bring awareness to our sacred relationship with plants. Today, the movement is called Plant Consciousness, an organization and annual event that aims to re-establish our connection to nature and reveal why it is necessary for the evolution of our collective consciousness that we do.

Bringing together the principles of plant neurobiology, permaculture, deep-ecology, eco-psychology, shamanism and herbalism, Plant Consciousness explores our interconnectedness with plants and our place in the biosphere of life. What you’ll quickly learn from Davyd and Emma is that we are far more dependent on plants than we realize, we have a far greater responsibility for their wellbeing than most of us acknowledge, and we have only begun to understand the depths of intelligence found in nature.

In our dynamic interview, Davyd and Emma share how they have learned how to communicate with plants, what messages mother nature has for us, and how to bring conscious awareness into every day life in order to live more mindfully, and in harmony with ALL life forms that surround us.

Amazing…….their is an amazing essay written by a 12 th Century Japanese Monk called Nichiren Daishonin called ” on enlightment of plants” which establishes the universal relationship of our journey on this Earth with our fellow plants and understanding all sentient beings are ‘ enlightened’….Meaning: they ARE life just as we are have eaten them to BE alive and experience ” life”, just being they enable us to live so we can become aware of our own enlightenment…..!!!!!…..thought id share that this awareness we battle to establish through dialogue IS a part of our ancient evolotion of becoming enlightened as an entire community and possibly an entire evolving species of ” life”……so exciting. Yea yea very interesting but nothing new for some folks! Plant consciousness or lets go a bus trip ” Further ” ; ) Earth consciousness has been a part of the awareness of many people around the world. It is only new to Westerners it seems. Though I am happy that more people are waking up! The Maya for example have always honored the plant kingdom and even have the little Gods of the forest. Islanders in Malaysia believe also that the Earth itself dictates a rhythm that can be experienced through plants and also dictates planting times as well as harvests. Some villages there even have a large drum that is used in ceremonies to match the pulse of the Earth. North American native Lakota prayer Mitakuye Oyasin means “all are related” or connected. Plants can communicate and do sing and talk to you but not so you can hear with your ears but with your Heart. Thank’s to you more people are being exposed to the truth of our connection to this garden Earth! My own personal belief is that this time we spend here alive and breathing and experiencing all the wonder and beauty. Is similar to a plant flowering. There is a great Spirit that inhabits the universe similar to air “for example” if you blow a rubber glove up it looks like a hand. When you let the air out, the glove collapses back to a empty vessel. And the air remerges with all the rest of the air all around you. So too with the great universal Spirit, it inflates this meat bag with life! And when this body dies that Spirit that animates us remerges with the rest of itself. Which is in all things. Have been a hunter gatherer all my life of sixty some years now, and it is a comfort to me to read your offerings. Thank you so much for acknowledging the beauty and magic of our home. I just wish the whole world learned to love and respect Mitakuye Oyasin! p.s. residing within a microcosm we are destined to that from which we came! Beauty!
